What happens if I am not home during delivery?

What happens when a courier cannot reach you, and how many times they will try. Includes how to make sure your parcel gets to you first time.

Couriers will typically attempt delivery more than once. If the parcel still cannot be delivered, it is returned to our warehouse and our Support Team will contact you to arrange a resolution.

What usually happens

  • The courier attempts delivery and, if nobody is available, will normally leave a notification or call the contact number on the order.

  • A further delivery attempt is made.

  • If delivery still cannot be completed, the parcel is returned to our warehouse.

  • Our Support Team will then contact you to arrange the next step.

How to avoid a failed delivery

  • Use an address where someone is available during business hours. A work address often works best.

  • Make sure your contact number is correct and your phone is reachable.

  • Include access instructions for complexes, estates and office parks.

  • Watch your tracking link so you know roughly when to expect the courier.
